PURPOSE:To enhance the strength of the joint part between a general part formed by extension molding and a mold part formed by die molding to prevent torsion and breakage of the joint part so that it is possible to aim at enhancing the sealing capability of the joint part, by forming a bad section which extends between the general part and the joint part in the inner surfaces of seal sections of both parts. CONSTITUTION:After the general part 13 formed by extrusion molding is inserted up to a position near to the center of the amplitude of a groove 17b, dies are mated with each other and then resin is injected into the cavity in the dies to form a mold part 14, and one end face 14b of the mold part 14 is thermally fused to one end face 13c of the general part 13. Simultaneously, resin is filled in the groove 17b in a first core 17 so that a bead 20 is formed extending between the sealing inner surface 14d of the mold part 14 and the sealing inner surface 13d of the general part 13d. Thus, it is possible to enhance the strength of the joint part 21 between the general part and the mold part, and therefore, it is possible to enhance the external quality and to prevent water from entering into the passenger's compartment of a vehicle without occurrences of bending, torsion and breakage, thereby it is possible to provided a stable sealing ability. |
