MAGNETIC RECORDING AND REPRODUCING SYSTEM OF DIGITAL SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To increase the allowance value for the phase shift and to increase the recording efficiency, by obtaining and recording a produce of a reference signal having the polarity which is continuously inverted and a digital signal having the same cycle as the inverting cycle of polarity of the reference signal. CONSTITUTION:The digital data supplied to a terminal 1 is supplied to a multiplier 3 via a dummy beat generating citcuit 2. While a data strobe signal having a pulse per data is supplied to a terminal 4 and then supplied to a 1/2 frequency divider 5 via the circuit 2. The multiplier 3 multiplies the digital data by the clock pulse having the polarity which is inverted with each data and supplies the quadruple data to a driver 6. This quadruple data is recorded on a magnetic tape 8 by a recording head 7 via the driver 6.
