PURPOSE:To prevent a foreign matter from going into the rear side of a photoreceptor, by forming a groove at the outer circumference part across the axial direction of a supporting member of the photoreceptor and then loading the photoreceptor after fitting an elastic member into the groove. CONSTITUTION:A groove 2 is formed in a turn on the circumference surface within a region to be covered with a photoreceptor 4 at the area near both ends of the axial direction J-J of a supporting member 1 of the photoreceptor 4 toward each curve. The elastic members 3 and 3' made of sponge, etc. for example are fitted into the grooves 2. In this case, the member 3 is set higher than the depth of the groove 2. Then the photoreceptor 4 is loaded to the circumference of the member 1 with application of tension, and the member 3 is pressed to the set at the same level of the circumference surface of the member 1 to abut elastically to the rear surface of the photoreceptor 4. Thus a foreign matter going into the rear side of the photoreceptor 4 can be avoided. |
