PURPOSE:To improve the safety of an equipment using a motor with a brake by allowing a brake to work at the power failure in linkage with a relay for switching a main circuit and a brake circuit and a relay of a no-voltage opening circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a normally opened momentary switch 5 is closed, current flows to a relay coil 4 to close a switch 2 and a 3 is connected to the positions 12 and 13. While the switch 2 is closed the relay coil 4 is energized to maintain the driving of a motor 7 even if the normally opened momentary switch 5 is opened. During the driving of the motor 7, as soon as the power source 8 fails, the energization of the relay coil 4 ceases and the switch 2 is opened while the switch 3 is connected to the positions 14 and 15. Therefore, at the moment of the power failure, a braking is applied to check the restarting of the motor 7 even when the power source 8 is restored. Of cource, if a normally closed momentary switch 6 is opened temporarily during the driving of the motor 7, the motor 7 is stopped by braking. |
