PURPOSE:To simplify working by scanning the laser beam used for trimming to detect the work, and performing trimming with the position thus detected as a reference. CONSTITUTION:For example, the characteristic value of the work 1 to be adjusted by trimming is measured with a measuring circuit 4. (This value is defined as M1.) Next, a laser beam is run from the position 7 outside the permissible position error of the time when the work 1 is caught by a trimming device to 8. Again the value of the work 1 is measured. (This value is defined as M2.) If M1=M2, the work 1 is not irradiated; therefore, the laser beam is run 8-9 and the value is measured. Next, if the laser beam is run 11-12 and the value is measured, it falls onto the work and since this causes M12 to change, the position checking in the X direction ends. In a similar manner, the position in the Y direction is checked by the running 15-16. Thereupon, the trimming in the X direction or the Y direction is done continuously from the position of 15. |
