A process for the manufacture of sheets or moulded bodies which comprises the steps of (a) continuously forming an emulsion of an organic polyisocyanate in water, (b) distributing the emulsion thus formed, without storage, over a mass of lignocellulosic material, and (c) hot pressing the product. The process is useful for the manufacture of particle board.
