A remote acquisition system for acquiring fault data of a protection relay and a processing method thereof are provided to perform rapidly a recovery process by collecting and processing fault data of different kinds of protection relays regardless of different protocols. A remote acquisition system includes a fault data acquisition device(FAD), a fault data analysis server(FAS), and a central fault analysis unit(CFAU). The fault data acquisition device is connected to different kinds of protection relays having different protocols by using a serial communication method. The fault data analysis server is connected in a T1/E1 communication speed of a TCP/IP communication manner through the fault data acquisition device, a CSU(Channel Service Unit) as a communication control unit, and a router. The central fault analysis unit is connected with an intranet through the fault data analysis server and a HUB as a communication control unit. |
