<p>The operating unit for the clamping sleeves (2) has two adjusting rings (4, 5) movable in the axial direction relative to one another. One ring (4) is split and has wedge-shaped circular faces running transverse to the gap (10). The other ring (5) has a mirror-image wedge shaped surface and is axially adjustable as a plunger ring when the gap is adjusted. The unit is used to clamp circular tool parts esp. for spark erosion machining. The design minimises the constructional height of the assembly.</p> |
