The cover has the external appearance of a bound book, and it is used for the preservation of files, magazines etc. It comprises a first section forming the back or spine and the covers of the book (1-7) and two other separate components (10), each with fixing flaps (10a, c) fitting in pockets formed inside the book covers. Each pocket can be formed by a sheet fixed to the internal face of the book cover along the sides, while along one edge it is just clear of the component. The first component or book cover can comprise two sheets of plastics welded together along their peripheries, while a reinforcing plate is inserted between the sheets.
