The machine consists of a console with two work stations. The first work station (A) is for the manufacture of toric lenses. It consists of a lever (3) the end of which carries a holder (4) for the polishing tool of toric shape. The workpiece holder (6) is mounted on a swinging arm (8) driven by an eccentric (10, 11) so that during the polishing process the workpiece holder and polishing tool carry out an asynchronic movement relative to one another. The second work station consists of a lever at the end of which a pin with spherical head is mounted. The lever and pin can move the polishing tool in all vertical directions. The workpiece is glued to a workpiece mount attached to a shaft by which it is rotated.
