PURPOSE:To readily obtain the subject broad nonwoven fabric without using many positions of spinning machines laminating fiber in the form of a web on the inner peripheral surface of a cylindrical support unit, pressing the fiber with rollers and then taking off the above-mentioned web. CONSTITUTION:A group of fiber carried with a high-speed fluid is jetted from a nozzle rotating around the central shaft of a substantially fixed cylindrical support unit 7 as the rotation central shaft on the inner peripheral surface of the aforementioned cylindrical support unit 7 and laminated in the form of a web. Further, the aforementioned web in a heated state is elastically pressed through rollers 9 and 10 revolving on the inner peripheral surface of the above-mentioned cylindrical support unit 7 with the same revolution central shaft as the rotation central shaft of the aforementioned rotating nozzle. The resultant web is then taken from the above-mentioned cylindrical support unit 7 while being slipped to afford the objective nonwoven fabric. Furthermore, the rotational frequency of the jetting nozzle is preferably equal to the number of revolutions of the rollers. |
