The container strip is wrapped round joints of meat before cooking and packing. The wrapper in the form of a long narrow band (1) impressed with grooves (3) along which the strip can be bent and slots (2) cut halfway approximately across the strip at a short distance from each end. The slots are cut from opposite sides of the strip, and are hooked together to form a closed loop round the meat. The band is of a material approved for use with food products. It is kept in a flat condition until immediately before use, so requiring the minimum of storage space. |
