PURPOSE: To repair a rotor easily with blades mounted on it without damaging the blades, by making up an apparatus for repairing turbine rotors with a modified supporting stand and work stations. CONSTITUTION: A rotor 10 consists of a shaft 11, and blades 12, 13. A supporting stand consists of bearings 16, 17 supporting the rotor 10, vertical members 19, 20, and a foundation part formed out of foundation members 21-25 or the like. The bearing 17 is provided with a trust bearing 18 so that the rotor may not face the shaft 11. The supporting stand can be disassembled for easy transportation. Working platforms 29, 30 are connected to the foundation part through supporting members 26, 27, 33, 34 to support work stations 31, 32 safely. The work stations 31, 32 are made adjacent to one or more blades of the rotor 10. It is thus possible to repair the rotor 10 easily with the blades mounted on the rotor 10, without doing any damage to the blades.
