PURPOSE: To well package containers free from contact by connecting a plurality of material pieces with one blank via hinge lines respectively, and by successively folding the respective material pieces to assemble a half portion, and then by assembling the remaining half portion in a similar manner. CONSTITUTION: A carrier blank 1 is equipped with a first material piece 2, with which second and third material pieces 4, 6 are connected via respective hinge lines 3, 5. Fourth and fifth material pieces 8, 10 are connected with a second material piece 4 via hinge lines 7, 9, respectively. When a carrier for receiving containers 33 is to be formed from the carrier blank 1, first, respective flap portions 15, 21 are folded along the respective hinge lines 7, 9 and attached to the second material piece 4. Then the first material piece 2 is kept horizontal, while the second material piece 4 is folded upward vertically and the third material piece 6 is folded downward vertically, respectively. Then respective tab portions 12, 18 are folded and stuck to the third material piece 3 to assemble a half portion. |
