PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device for a vehicle which suppresses vibration at an engine start.SOLUTION: A driving device for a vehicle provided with a motor generator 21 mechanically coupled with an output shaft of an engine 2 via a drive 5, is provided with a combustion means 51 for performing initial combustion by injecting fuel to a cylinder in a compression stroke during an engine stop, for starting the engine 2, and a start assist means 51 for assisting the start of the engine 2 by producing start torque by the motor generator 21 for starting the engine 2, and the start assist torque means 51 increases start torque as a piston in a cylinder where initial combustion is performed is closer to the upper dead center. |
