PZT is used as the vibrator 103, and when the efficiency of removal of the harmful matters is measured, in a high range, the efficiency satisfys the equation; L=a×W/f (wherein, the unit of the distance L between the contact surface with liquid of the ultrasonic vibration board and the contact surface with liquid of the thin plate is cm, the unit of ultrasonic output W per unit area is w/cm2, the unit of the frequency (f) is Hz, and a coefficient (a) is more than 5×104). Hence, the highly harmful substances can be efficiently decomposed and removed with less energy.
