The invention discloses an electronic device and a control method thereof. By using the electronic device, the best printing quality can be acquired, and at the same time, the degradation of the thermal head can be prevented. The electronic device comprises a code printing part, which can be used to set a sampling code for a thermosensitive printer used for printing the thermosensitive printing medium according to the printing condition; an image receiving part, which can be used to receive an image picture of the sampling code output by the thermosensitive printer and read by a reading device; a verification part, which can be used for the verification of the printing quality according to the specifications of the sampling codes based on the image pictures; a determining part, which can be used to determine the printing parameters based on the verification of the printing quality; and an output part, which can be used to output the determined printing references determined to the thermosensitive printer. |
