PURPOSE:To make spikes project or conceal through expansion and contraction of an auxiliary air chamber for making it possible to change over spike tire and snow tire mutually by providing an auxiliary air chamber with an auxiliary air injecting hole just under a portion equipped with metallic spikes. CONSTITUTION:When this tire is made to be a spike tire, air in an auxiliary air chamber 7 is discharged through opening a valve 90 in an air injecting hole 9 for contracting an air chamber 7 to conseal the projected end surface of a spike lug 5 and the projected end of a metallic spike 6 below than the projected end of a snow lug 4. On the contrary, when the air chamber 7 is expanded through injecting air into the auxiliary air chamber 7 from the air injecting hole 9, the projected end of the spike 6 projects outer than the projected end surface of the snow lug 4 for functioning as a spike tire. In such wise, this tire can be changed simply over a snow tire and a spike tire mutually, therefore can prevent dust pollution.
