PURPOSE:To obtain a rotating aeration type filter, capable of efficiently feeding dissolved oxygen required for the growth of fishes and simultaneously removing ammonia toxic to the fishes in high-density culture of the fishes. CONSTITUTION:This rotating aeration type filter is capable of feeding dissolved oxygen into rearing water in a water tank for rearing fishes and equipped with water wheels 2-1 and 2-2 partially immersed in the rearing water and rotated so as to mix oxygen in the rearing water and a drum type filter tank 4 connected to the water wheel and filled with a filter medium in which aerobic bacteria breed in a rotating drum, partially immersed in the rearing water and rotated.
