PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a penetration current generated in the switching of on/off-operations of two switching elements connected in series.
SOLUTION: When the switching of the on/off operations of Q1, Q2 is performed and an H-level signal that turns on the Q1 is inputted to an inverter circuit 10, a transistor 11 is turned on, a voltage of a power supply Vm is applied to a gate electrode of the Q1, and charging to Miller capacitance is started. A gate voltage of the Q1 is boosted toward an on-operating threshold voltage. In other words, the Q1 is controlled so as to delay in a switching speed. In the meantime, the level of the penetration current generated by a reverse recovery current of a flywheel diode D2 is lowered. When the gate voltage of the Q1 exceeds a logic inversion voltage, a transistor 15 is turned on, the voltage of the power supply Vm is applied to the gate electrode of the Q1, and the charging to the Miller capacitance is accelerated. The Q1 is thereby controlled so as to accelerate the switching speed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
