<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coloring fluid which can form a clear colored image easily and perfectly erasable with water on the surface of a molded plastic toy by compounding a pigment having a specified particle diameter, water, and a water-soluble resin. SOLUTION: This fluid comprises at least one pigment selected among a capsular pigment containing a dye or a pigment and having a mean particle diameter of 0.5-20μm, a particulate colored resin prepared by homogeneously dispersing a pigment in polymer particles, and a particulate inorganic substance; water; and 0.1-15 wt.%, based on the fluid, water-soluble resin such as a polyvinyl alcohol or an alkyd resin. Optionally, the fluid may additionally contain a water-soluble organic solvent such as ethylene glycol, an inorganic salt, a pH modifier, a preservative, a wetting agent, a fluoro surfactant, an antifoam, a dispersant, or the like. The fluid is applied to the smooth or finely irregular surface of a molded plastic toy by e.g. brushing, spraying, or stamping to form a colored image thereon.</p> |
