The device is composed of a U-shaped pocket in which is inserted a disc rotating on its axis. On the disc are inscribed the endings of verbs, simple tenses on face A and different subsidiary tenses on face B. Notches (4,5) enable the disc to be activated with the fingers. Openwork (6,7,8,9) enables the verb endings and conjugations to appear.
