PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cytology support apparatus capable of determining a tissue/cell from an image by calculating a feature amount in a deformation status of cells even when tissues/cells have various shapes.SOLUTION: The image diagnosis support apparatus executes a series of processing including: inputting an image of cells; extracting a feature amount of elements in plural directions from the processing object image; determining whether or not the image falls in a classification by using the plural feature amounts; and determining whether the determination processing has been made on every preset classification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
