The invention relates to an accumulator with at least one chargeable electric cell, an electrical terminal for supplying and/or draining of electric energy and a housing surrounding the at least one electric cell, and a charging set. The object of the invention is to inform the user immediately and with a high level of certainty about the operational capacity and/or energy reserves of the accumulator. A device for displaying the charging and/or function state of the accumulator is mounted on or in the housing of the accumulator, and a reader is provided on the charging set and used to read data associated with an individual accumulator, said display device and reader being used to charge and/or evaluate the performance of the accumulator. |
