PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid fuel injection valve that has high stability and responsiveness of an opening/closing attitude of a valve assembly and can contribute to improvement of low fuel consumption of an engine. SOLUTION: The solenoid fuel injection valve comprises a valve housing 2 of which one end is coupled to a valve seat member 3, a fixed core 5 coupled to the other end of the valve housing 2, a movable core 12 being slidably stored in the valve housing 2, the valve assembly V formed of a valve part 16 that is connected to the movable core 12 via a lever part 15 and cooperates with a valve seat 8. The valve housing 2 is provided with a guide part 4 for pivoting the valve assembly V axially slidably, the outer peripheral surface of the valve assembly V contacting with the guide part 4 is provided with a coating 14 having high hardness made of diamond-like carbon containing silicon.
