PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent accumulation of an asphalt mixture penetrating from a clearance formed for moving a tamper edge vertically when the tamper edge is moved vertically while its longitudinal oscillation is eliminated in a screed device having a tamper device. SOLUTION: This tamper device is constructed of a rotary shaft 8, a bearing 9 whose outer ring lower end is displaced vertically according to the rotation of the rotary shaft, and a tamper bar 10, in which an upper end part is brought into contact with the outer ring lower end, an intermediate part is journalled to the screed main body 5 side freely movably in the vertical direction, and a lover end part is installed to the tamper edge 11.
