PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of performing communication having excellent reliability.SOLUTION: A communication system comprises a plurality of first to fifth power distribution slave stations 6 to 10 connected to a master station device 4 in a daisy chain manner through a communication line 20. The respective power distribution slave stations 6 to 10 comprise: first to fifth slave station CPUs 6b to 10b for performing processing using a signal from the master station device 4; first to fifth communication I/Fs 6a to 10a for converting the signal from the master station device 4 and transferring the converted signal to the respective slave station CPUs 6b to 10b; and automatic switch amplifier units 61 to 101 which are connected between the communication line 20 and the respective communication I/Fs 6a to 10, receive the signal from the master station device 4 and transmit the signal to the respective communication I/Fs 6a to 10a, and switch between transmitting the signal to the power distribution slave station on the downstream side through the communication line 20 when strength of the signal from the master station device 4 is equal to or larger than a predetermined value, and transmitting the signal to the power distribution slave station on the downstream side through the communication line 20 after amplifying the signal when the strength of the signal from the master station device 4 is smaller than the predetermined value. |
