The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for preparing an electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery, which prepare an electrode by using a porous collector and a roll-to-roll method and including a drying process. According to the present invention, provided is a method for preparing an electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery, the method comprising the steps of: feeding a porous collector into a chamber containing an active material composition while unwinding the porous collector from an unwinding roll; infiltrating the active material composition into the porous collector to be supported thereon while moving the porous collector along a circumferential surface of a supporting roll; taking the porous collector, into and to which the active material composition has been infiltrated and attached, out of the active material composition, and primarily drying the porous collector through hot-air drying, so that the porous collector is coated with the active material composition, thereby forming an electrode; secondarily drying the electrode via a drying apparatus, thereby completing the electrode; and winding the completed electrode around a winding roll. Also provided is an apparatus for preparing an electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery. According to the configuration of the present invention, required conductivity can be ensured even for a high loading amount; an electrode can be prepared via a continuous process; preparation of a large-area electrode can be facilitated; and a dried state can be made uniform through hot-air drying rather than oven drying in a drying process, thereby providing an effect of improving preparing quality. |
