Disclosed are an image processing method and device. The method comprises: obtaining a distorted image of a photographed object; according to the mapping relationship between at least one set of lens optical distortion model and a re-projection error value, selecting the lens optical distortion model having a re-projection error value less than a preset threshold, the lens optical distortion model containing an optical distortion type, a distortion order, and a distortion coefficient, the re-projection error value being used for characterizing with respect to any marked object the error value between a theoretical distorted image coordinate value of the marked object and an actual distorted image coordinate value of the marked object; utilizing the lens optical distortion model to perform optical distortion correction for the obtained distorted image to obtain the optically corrected image, thus effectively eliminating the optical distortion caused by an optical imaging principle during the process of obtaining the image of the photographed object, and improving the quality of the photographed image. |
