The present invention relates to a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal includes: a touch screen on which an application icon is displayed; and a control unit executing different functions according to the number of a second touch input received while a first touch input for the application icon is maintained. According to one embodiment of the present invention, functions included in a certain icon are directly executed on the touch screen in accordance with each gesture without the certain icon being executed, thereby enabling the functions to be quickly executed and maximizing user convenience. |
