Provided are a virtual keyboard system and key input method thereof. The virtual keyboard system comprises a projector for projecting a key region having a plurality of keys onto a projecting plane, a storage device for storing a key value mapping table, a key input position coordinates acquisition device for acquiring in real time the coordinates of a key input position being touched in the key region, and a key value acquisition device for acquiring from the key value mapping table a key value corresponding to the coordinates of the key input position, so that a corresponding key value can be output when a user touches the projected virtual key region. |
