PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine work machine in which a temperature of the circumference of a ventilator window in a cylinder cover is not increased, and a resin material composing the cylinder cover is hardly deteriorated with the lapse of time.SOLUTION: In a cylinder-side space 40D as a space where a cylinder 10 is covered with a cylinder cover 40, main cooling air CA1 passes a right side of the cylinder 10, and main cooling air CA2 passes a left side of the cylinder 10 to flow backward and join at a back side of the cylinder 10. Bypass cooling air CA3 enters into a bypass passage P partitioned from the cylinder-side space 40D from a bypass passage inlet P1, and flows toward the right side along a curved part of a partition wall 41 at the back. By joining the bypass cooling air CA3 of low temperature with the main cooling airs CA1, CA2 of high temperature, a temperature of cooling air CA discharged from a ventilator window can be lowered. |
