PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device capable of accurately confirming attachment and detachment of a cover member to an appliance case body.SOLUTION: A case body whose one surface is nearly wholly opened is detachably provided with a cover member covering the opening. When the cover member is attached to the case body, a cover attachment operation action permission switch 15 enables an action of an action part of a combustion device, including a drive action of a combustion fan, and disables an action of the action part when the cover member is not attached to the case body. When a power source connection cord 14 for connecting the action part to an outer power source is connected to the outer power source in a state that the action of the action part is enabled with the cover attachment operation action permission switch 15 by attaching the cover member to the case body, fan trial drive control means 18 drives a combustion fan 8 on a trial basis only for a fan driving set time previously set at the time of connection. |
