METHOD, SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR IMPLEMENTING MULTIMEDIA SERVICE

A method, system and device for implementing multimedia service are provided. The method comprises: determining the MMSC, to which a sending party belongs, according to a submission request message sent by the sending party; transferring a multimedia message submitted by the sending party to the MMSC, to which the sending part belongs; sending a notification message for extracting the multimedia message by the MMSC, to which the sending part belongs. By the service of the MMSC to which the sending party belongs, and without needing the service of the MMSC to which the receiving party belongs, the receiving party can extract the multimedia message from the sending side MMSC of the multimedia message according to a control message. The multimedia message needs not to be transferred between MMSCs at the sending side and the receiving side, thereby reducing the occupation of the network bandwidth and the license.
