An USB(Universal Serial Bus) smart key can reduce the cost by performing the IPM(Intelligent Power Modulate) and emergency starting authentication process without the transponder and FOB holder of the FOB key. The smart key and USB memory(112) are integrated in the USB smart key(110). The USB smart key is inserted into USB connector(132) of USB host controller(130). The USB smart key transmits the encryption code for the emergency starting authentication in the IPM(120) in case of being connected to the IPM terminal(133) of USB host controller. The USB smart key transmits the function descriptor for the audio operation in the USB host controller in case of being connected to the audio device terminal(134) of USB host controller. |
