PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable, when an optical fiber unit is formed using binding members made of a thermal adhesion material, capable of retaining favorable feeding property of an optical fiber in intermediate post-branching work by mutually separating adjacent optical fiber units from each other.SOLUTION: An optical fiber cable includes: a plurality of optical fiber units 10a and 10b in which a plurality of optical fibers 11a and 11b are bundled using binding members 12a-12d each of which has a core part and a coating part provided to cover the core part and having a melting point lower than that of the core part, and that are mutually separated; a first sheath 1 that covers a periphery of the plurality of optical fiber units 10a and 10b and has a melting point lower than that of the coating part of the binding members 12a-12d; and a second sheath 2 that covers a periphery of the first sheath 1 and has a melting point higher than that of the first sheath 1. |
