PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet cutting device capable of safely and easily performing processing when the processing such as removal of a cut piece of paper is required because a malfunction such as a cutting jam occurs, in cutting of a sheet.SOLUTION: A traveling carriage reciprocating at a predetermined stroke along a cut sheet is provided with a cutting blade, and a cover member that is opened/closed between the lid closing state of closing a blade surface of the cutting blade and the lid opening state of exposing a cutting edge. Shift means for opening/closing the cover member in such a manner as to interlock with the movement of the traveling carriage is arranged in a device frame. |
