This connector (10) is provided with a holding member (20), contacts (60), a shell (70), and a ground member (100). The holding member (20) is made from an insulator that defines a connection space (35). The contacts (60) each have a contact point (62). The contacts (60) are held by the holding member (20). The contact points (62) are positioned inside of the connection space (35). The ground member (100) is electrically connected to the shell (70). The ground member (100) comprises a base unit (110), ground spring units (130), and ground contact point units (180). The base unit (110) is positioned between the holding member (20) and the shell (70). On the base unit (110), a restricted unit (112) is provided held between the shell (70) and the holding member (20) and restricted in movement. The ground spring units (130) extend from the base unit (110). The ground contact point units (180) are supported by the ground spring units (130) and project into the connection space (35). In the front-back direction, the position of the ground spring units (130) does not overlap with the position of the contacts (60). |
