<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to move comfortably from an origin to a destination. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A navigation system has search condition setting processing means 91 for setting a route search section as a search condition, route search processing means 92 for searching for routes according to the set search condition, seat-reservable line determination processing means 93 for determining whether routes found include at least one seat-reservable line, and notification processing means 94 for notifying the operator of routes found including a seat-reservable line if any routes found include at least one seat-reservable line. If the routes found include at least one seat-reservable line, the operator is notified of routes found including a seat-reservable line, whereby he/she can ensure a seat when using public transportation on a route found to move comfortably from the origin to the destination.
