The present invention provides a battery device for ensuring starting performance of a vehicle and a method for ensuring starting performance by solving the problem wherein a battery is discharged by a dark current when leaving a vehicle as it is after the vehicle is parked. According to the present invention, the battery device for ensuring starting performance of a vehicle comprises: a battery to supply starting power; a control unit monitoring a battery state; and a relay configured to block power supply from the battery. |
