<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video monitoring system capable of displaying a video image of a monitoring camera corresponding to a sensor and information of a detection area of the sensor in real time on an operation screen of a monitoring control device when the sensor detects a disaster or any emergency.SOLUTION: The video monitoring system includes: a plurality of sensors 20 each for detecting emergency; a plurality of monitoring cameras 30 each for imaging a monitoring target area; a server 80 which includes a sensor information table and performs control to turn the monitoring cameras toward a sensor when detection information is received from the sensor; and a monitoring control device 70 for displaying a video image on the operation screen. The monitoring control device includes; a camera video display section for switching to a video image of a monitoring camera corresponding to a sensor when detection information is received from the sensor via the server, and displaying the video image; and a map/camera display section for displaying a map of the monitoring target area, indicating an installation position of the monitoring camera with an icon on the map and displaying the detection area of the sensor.</p> |
