<p>A handover method of a node using a mobile IP and a system thereof are provided to support the seamless data transmission service regardless of the handover point of time. A mobile node receives an IP(Internet Protocol) address from an IP network(200). The allocated IP address is registered in the IP network. When a communication station(300) transmits a datagram to the IP address of the mobile node, the IP network transmits the datagram to the mobile node through the IP address. According to the movement of the mobile node, the IP network traces the registered IP address value to grasp the location of the mobile node and then transmits the datagram to the mobile node.</p> |
