FALL DETERMINATION SYSTEM, FALL DETERMINATION METHOD, AND FALL DETERMINATION PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely determine fall of a senior person even when various movement is included in a fall operation pattern. SOLUTION: This fall determination system is provided with a sensor mounted on the trunk of a person for outputting a value corresponding to the perpendicular displacement quantity of the trunk; a suspicious fall determination means for determining whether or not any suspicious fall has occurred based on the output value of the sensor; an output value collection means for collecting the output values of the sensor for a prescribed time from when the suspicious fall is detected; an output value specification means for specifying the highest output value among the collected output values; a total displacement quantity calculation means for calculating the perpendicular total displacement quantity of the trunk of the person by using the output values from when the suspicious fall has occurred to the time corresponding to the output value specified by the output value specification means; and a fall determination means for determining the fall of the person based on the calculated total displacement quantity.
