A condensate drainage structure in an indoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to prevent condensate drop through the suction grill or vent by collecting condensate falling from the heat exchanger. A condensate drainage structure in an indoor unit of an air conditioner comprises a heat exchanger(170), a main drain pan(400), a drain hose, and an auxiliary drain pan(500). The heat exchanger is equipped inside the indoor unit. The main drain pan forms a condensate collecting space for collecting the condensate along the surface of the heat exchanger. The drain hose is equipped in one side of the main drain pan to discharge the collected condensate to outside. The auxiliary drain pan is equipped in the bottom side of the heat exchanger to deliver the condensate falling from the heat exchanger to the main drain pan. |
