PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a twisted cord for a belt which is capable of reducing the dispersion of its diameter. SOLUTION: An adhesion treatment is given to a raw yarn with an RFL liquid containing a resorcin-formalin-latex. A required number of the raw yarns subjected to adhesion treatment are gathered and firstly twisted under a condition of a primary twist coefficient of 2.0-6.0 to form a primary twist cord. Then, a required number of the primary twist cords are gathered and finally twisted under a condition of a final twist coefficient of 5.0-8.0 to form a final twist cord.
