<p>Composition (I) capable of curing in the manufacture of a rigid material, obtained by mixing 20-40 g of a powder with 60 g of an aqueous solution, is claimed, where the powder comprises at least 5-15 wt.% of a phycocolloid, 45-75 wt.% of a filler, a gelling agent such as calcium sulfate and an agent to control gelling, is claimed. An independent claim is included for manufacturing a rigid material comprising preparing (I) by vacuum homogeneous mixing of the above components; forming a layer comprising at least three millimeters, preferably five millimeters of (I); leaving the layer for a suitable time and curing; pressing the cured layer for a predetermined time, where the pressing step comprises at least a step of absorption of excess liquid extract of the pressed layer; and dehydrating the pressed layer at = 80[deg] C.</p> |
