<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feeding system that enables a user to easily additionally stack paper by easily eliminating paper in an interposed state. <P>SOLUTION: A paper feeding device 10 includes an elevating mechanism that elevates and lowers a placing table 12, a separation feeding part 14 that feeds the uppermost paper out of the paper stacked on the placing table 12 toward a shredding device 2 while interposing it between a paper feeding roller 141 and a friction separating member 142; and a controller that controls the elevating mechanism and the separation feeding part 14 so as to automatically and continuously supply the paper stacked on the placing table 12 one by one from the uppermost one to the shredding device 2. The device 10 includes a detection part to detect that the placing table 12 is lowered by a prescribed distance. When the detection part detects that the placing table 12 is lowered by the prescribed distance, the controller controls the separation feeding part 14 to perform paper purging operation that the paper interposed between the paper feeding roller 141 and the friction separating member 142 is fed toward a downstream side so that it may not exist above the placing table 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
