The objective of the present invention is to produce a uniform thickness for a coat film layer that is formed over a base material even if a slurry outpouring operation is carried out continuously for a long period of time. The battery electrode plate production device comprises: a die (10) having formed therein a first manifold (11), which comprises a space that is elongated in the width direction, and an outpouring mouth (18), which is connected to the first manifold (11) via a slit (12) that is wide in the width direction, for pouring out a slurry (3); and a supply means (20) for supplying the slurry to the first manifold (11). In the width direction, the slit (12) or the first manifold (11) is provided with adjustment parts (31, 32, 33, 34) for adjusting the amount of slurry (3) outpouring from the outpouring mouth (18) by causing the slurry (3) to flow out or flow in. The die (10) has a concave corrective mechanism for correcting the flow of the slurry (3) inside the die (10) so that the cross-sectional shape of the slurry (3) outpoured onto the base material (2) has a convex shape under conditions where the outpouring amount is not being adjusted. |
