PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a semiconductor device provided with an element having a layer including an organic compound on a flexible substrate at high yield.SOLUTION: A peeling layer 102 is formed on a substrate. On the peeling layer, a semiconductor device has: a first conductive layer 1305 that is electrically connected to a semiconductor layer; a second conductive layer 104 that is electrically connected to the first conductive layer; a layer 105 including a luminescent organic compound on the second conductive layer; a third conductive layer 106 on the layer including the luminescent organic compound; and a fourth conductive layer 1144 including the same material as that of the first conductive layer. A region 1145 in which the third conductive layer is in contact with the fourth conductive layer is provided between a substrate end portion and a region in which the layer including the luminescent organic compound is in contact with the third conductive layer.
