<p>The invention relates to the equipment for drying of materials in small pieces and can be used for drying of wood chips, sawdust, granular or chopped agricultural waste and other comminuted biomass.The equipment for drying of comminuted biomass includes a carcass (1), wherein are horizontally mounted in tiers semicylindrical troughs, made in the shape of a jacket, a charge hopper for biomass (5) and a discharge device for dried biomass (6). In the upper part of the troughs are mounted moisture traps (7), connected to an ejector. In the concave portion of the troughs are mounted augers on hollow shafts. The cavities of the jackets and the hollow shafts are connected to the heat-transfer agent inlet-outlet manifolds (3, 4). In the augers, on the spiral generating line, are made through holes. The troughs at the ends are equipped with charge (12) and discharge (13) compartments.</p> |
